Dunwich Amplification General Discussion

I have never seen magic have an insta-sell out...but I wouldn't wait a few days if you are thinking in it. The pedals aren't cheap and although there is demand. Its nothing like Broughton.
Yeah that’s because he’s typically selling his regular lineup. These three aren’t seen too often. I think you’re underestimating the demand on them. We shall see though!

Broughton became dead to me a long time ago as a result of east coast bias in drop times and overrated hype.

Yeah Dunwich/Magic is the same...no east coast bias but overpriced and all hype. Even these new drops are way overpriced and overhyped....nothing to see here, nothing going on this weekend or next weekend and not even worth following this thread anymore really.

So, how about that new earthquaker dirt box? Looks like meris is planning something soon...let's focus on that for the next few days.

There's a Wizard Fuzz demo on YT -

Unfortunately no Witchfinder bass demos to be immediately found. I know Nick had a Doomfinder demo (Witchfinder + analogue octave down) on his old social media pages but that's long since gone.

Thanks!

I searched but didn't find.

So the answer to the question "Does it Doom?" is a resounding yes.

There are lots of settings with far too much fuzz/far too little bass for me in that video but also plenty that are absolutely spot on for my taste. It seems you can certainly preserve bottom end if you choose to.

Follow up.

Any audio examples of Wizard Fuzz and Witchfinder on bass gratefully received.

Lol, audio examples? These are rare pedals. Always buy when "in stock", then either list on Reverb for $500-600, or use as Trade-bait. This is the way...

jk. If you like FZ-2's on bass you'll appreciate what Nick has done with it. Its a gritty ominous beast of a fuzz. ..However, between the Wizard and Witchfinder, the Wizard being more conventional gets the most use. Low end isn't an issue if you have something like a Loop Blender or FFXL... But, I still prefer the WF125b over the OG WF on bass
