If it makes you feel better, the shipping was $11 so $39 international isn't bad at all...and the last witch finder that sold on reverb went reasonably quick at ~ $700 so you definitely beat the flippers here. I bit that bullet today too.

I read more about each, and watched a bunch of demos, and got sold on the idea of a modded, more controllable FZ-2. I really liked the sound of my old one on some settings, but I always wished it was less noisy, and had better controls.

Dang I wish I held onto that FZ-2...

Grabbed a Wizard, selling my WF compact version was a silly move ! This one got no blend but guess it's bass & mix friendly as well ?

No. But, you’ll be covered if it doesn’t work for you. Most Dunwich and Magic pedals have an excess of bass on tap. I don’t think you’ll have an issue cutting through the mix.
