Earth sound research folded 18"?

Does any one have any info on these, or know if they were even made? I am looking at one to pair with my new(to me) superbass-2000. Any info would be helpful.

I believe that they were...but I haven't seen one in probably 33 years... When I got my brand spanking new 1974 P Bass, I believe I played it through some sort of amp and an nice tuck and roll (or was it tufted) Earth 1x18 folded horn (could have been a 15, but I think it was an 18).

Well, Earth tube era stuff is actually Plush. Basically Plush was run by two partners. One of the partners supposedly pulled a fast one and started Earth on the side. Anyway, Plush and Earth tube stuff was pretty much identical until Earth went solid state and copied Peavey designs.

Thanks for the info. I am really digging these amps. They are pretty much copies of fender amps of the day. I get that great sound at a fraction of the price.

I know, I really like my Plush 1060S. I'm using the 3x15 cab, but I'm planning on getting rid of the cab. Just too big and not very transportable. At this point I'm planning on building (2) Omni 10.5's to use with my Plush.

That's pretty spiffy!!! I can only imagine how short lived the covering would be...I wonder if they even made it home from the store without being damaged.

I just ran an inflation calculator...$650 from the early '70s is equivalent to over $3200 today. You can get a lot of top notch gear for $3200!!!

Yeah the tuck and roll type covering is not what I would call durable. The cab that I am looking at has been recovered in tolex.
