I'm sure it will still do the mild dirt that the plumes does... it's just that the plumes has a lot of boost on tap already.

Judging based on the video above, it has way too much gain for my purposes. I think I will go for the Plumes...

Why do they put so much volume on tap? The Hizumi went from 0 to too much in a slight knob turn. Same experience with the Plumes. Blumes seems to be the same.

It doesn’t sound any good. To me, the magic of the Plumes was in the low gain/boost mode. I wonder why did they go full on gain with this one.

I really liked the plumes on guitar but loss of low end was no good for bass.
Was excited for this but double the gain? Dealbreaker for me.

We all would love to see Juan back. Not to diverge the thread much he had a bad bike accident a few years ago and he is probably still recovering from it.

It does have more gain at maximum than what I would probably use but there definitely some good tones in there. I’ll probably end up getting one.

I was actually getting gain and level mixed up... I think more gain might actually be useful. You can keep the level down and get more breakup if you want it.

This plumes demo is also pretty good. She does a good job of playing with gain/level to get different tones-- just to give a sense of what you can do with the Blumes.

I think it has more gain at minimum than I would use. Perfect for others I suppose.
