EB0 pickup on Rickenbacker?

I put one in one of my '73 4001s back in the early 80s. I thought it sounded great.

Here's the bass today, in need of restoration:

A new pickguard will hide the hole.

Which hole? ;) There are many.

I'm actually going to paint the bass Jetglo (it started out Mapleglo) and fill the hole that the mudbucker was in and put the toaster back in. Unless I leave the mudbucker.

I haven't decided if I'm going to put the stock bridge back on though. If I do, I have to rout the maple block out I inlayed.
