I think it's clear to all that Daco was a scammer trying to cash in on the frenzy, and now his account is toast and everyone who bought from him will be refunded.

And I have been selling on eBay since about 1996, and my instincts tell me that "robhe" is very probably legit :)

And it seems my Blue "Robhe-P" is back in motion: (now in a shipping container, perhaps?)

This is a new one for me: after getting an order confirmation from eBay, I got a shipping notification for the acoustic from PayPal.

No shipping news yet on the pair of electrics from robhe.

Edit - tracking info shows Germany destination, but indicates movement from 2/27 to yesterday? I just ordered it yesterday.

My Ebay purchase history now shows the bass I bought as "removed item"

And I can't click on my purchase any more

I didn't remove it, fyi.... very bizarre
Same here. Bummer!
Your statement is similar to:

That store at the mall closed!
What store?
You know, at the mall!
The basses I ordered (from robhe) are still shown on eBay as available. Similar ads from other sellers have been taken down, but the "original" is still there.

According to the poll results, four people have received their < $20 bass in good condition.

Who are those four people and where are the pictures of their basses?
I call BS on the basses being received when the poll opened. Nobody can expect next day delivery via USPS ground.

Edit: by today, there is feedback on Robhe for NJ items. The comments don't appear to be Chinglish.... so maybe
(just maybe, it's still early for USPS ground) people are starting to receive items. The proof will be a photo and comment...

I was buying to give away to someone starting to play after making it playable which I expect is needed. I'll often buy cheap off-brand basses & guitars from LetGo, Facebook marketplace or pawn shops for the same purpose. I have kids from my Autism support group that want to learn to play an instrument. Some will give up quickly (not because of the instrument) and some will stay with long enough its worth upgrading.

As for other people, I hate on here and other forums, when people criticize others for buying cheap or expensive instruments. I know people that a set of bass strings is a major investment. A used Stagg precision copy for $75 was all they can afford. Others put down people that post about that $3000 Warwick. I own 9 basses from $100 to $2000. I do not rate any by price. That each serve a different purpose musically.

If an instrument is what you can afford and you can make music (or noise for some people:) ) I don't understand what there is critize.
You don't understand their pov, they don't understand yours. Pretty normal for a social media debate

No reply from my seller regarding when he/she will give me a tracking number for the bass that's supposed to deliver sometime today through next weekend. I guess it's looking more and more like refund time ;)
