I'm not heartless, I feel for a bas sitch, been thru plenty. but if I was in his shoes, I would have bought one, completed the transaction, got accustommed to that instrument, discerned whether it was a keeper, and wether I would even need the other. I know timing is key, in regards to these auctions, but that is just how I would choose to operate.
Live within or a bit below your means, I always say.
