eBay horror guitar

The verbiage in the ad seems like an homage to a certain someone...

All that's missing are the trademark statements:
"Lots of people don't know this but..."
"All the best people say...."
"Believe me"

From the staining around the f-holes, it looks like that guitar was sitting face down in water for a while.
Or maybe snake oil, not water...
SAD!

His disgusting abode aside...

It looks like something dissolved the binding in the F-holes, and the inside of the gig bag appears to have been wet at some point. I can't help but wonder if some kind of solvent leaked or spilled on the guitar during shipping?

There is a lot of clutter in the picture that makes me wary. It's not that he/she smokes weed or drinks beer or is a messy Mike, it's the lack of presentation combined with exposing your lifestyle for all to see/judge.

Yeah, the whole paints an uncomfortable picture to me, it's just that the bong on the table is (to me) the least important aspect. I was just curious what made you mention the bong, that's all. I often encounter people who have strong opinions against weed but they're pretty happy drinking nearly everyday, which I find interesting, and I like to hear their reasons sometimes.

This whole thread is uncomfortable :D like watching an accident: I don't want to judge others, I don't particularly want to look at the pictures... but I could not stop myself.

Humans are funny. ;)

No worries. I live in the weed capital of California so no judgement here. Cheers!

So for those curious, more photos .. starting with all the packing material and moving to the absolutely horrid gig bag, and how the box fit everything. Enjoy

Nope. But I’m sure it was soaked in cat urine at some point in time. It was covered in stains and mildew. No signs in the box of anything wet.

Oof. There’s not many things worse than cat urine, imo. I just finished gutting and re-tiling my basement shower for the second time in a month, because we discovered our kitten had been peeing in the shower before I managed to grout and seal the floor after tiling it the first time.

On that note… I practically stole my first Les Paul because a cat had peed in the case. I tossed the case in the trash and let the guitar bake outside in the sun for two weeks, and it was good as new.
