Same thing kinda happened to me with a worse ending...
Well, the USPS got involved in the scam. He signed for the package, and allowed the mail man to leave. He was to inspect the package before signing for it. So the Insurance which was purchased was thrown out...
...Then he filed a charge back thru paypal. He won. I filed for an appeal with the creditcard company, as the return policy stated he was to return the amplifier for a full refund.
His MOMS credit card company won. My account was frozen, and I was screwed out of $500. I filed a suit with the CC company, and lost that as well. I was suing them for knowingly participating in fraud.
So, I am out court costs, $500 for the amp, the amp, shipping cost, insurance costs, and materials, on a rare Marshall Jubilee Bass head...
Sometimes these things happen.
