Just got my EBMM Darkray in obsidian black a few days ago and I absolutely love it! I’ve been on a Reverend decision P for a while now, and it’s been nice to finally have a good active humbucker and big stainless frets. The alpha/omega sounds really good too, just a 10/10 bass, absolutely wonderful.

They have some great colors, but yes I love it with the maple board.
I get some awesome drive tones with it!

I’ve got one of the original granite silver ones. I wasn’t a huge fan at first, but it’s definitely grown on me a lot. I love that bass.

Gold one is stunning. I'm trying to sell a couple of basses to purchase this. Wife has a potential redundancy on the way so don't want to buy it unless I can shift some others.

Had some potential redundancy on the way but turns out all is good so I went and had a look at this today (which I had reserved previously) with the idea of trading a Sandberg and a Special.
I have to say that I really liked it, looks amazing and is obviously a quality instrument but for the price it didn't blow me away vs the other StingRay specials that I have. I ended up trading my Sandberg for a used Alusonic (never heard of them before but it is something similar but also different) and still have my Special.
They had a Gold Bar DarkRay there as well which I have to say looks the absolute nuts.
So I'm not a member of the club yet but if I see a used Gold Bar or in the unlikely event a used bargain Grapes of Wrath I will likely pick it up.
I'm kind of gutted as I wanted to love it but the good news is I still have my Special and now a new brand to play around with.
They're the ones that let me custom order my Stingray back in 2014. I told them I wanted a flat, non-sparkle white body, black pickguard, regular non-figured maple neck and fretboard, and 2-band preamp and they just added it to their order list from EBMM. Got essentially a custom Stingray made for me for $1400 thanks to Sweetwater, and it's my main bass to this day.
