EBMM Randy Jackson Custom Bass

I can't tell if those are his sig model Alchemy strings on it but anyway I really liked those strings. They felt great, sounded great, nice & bouncy, however, the E broke after a few weeks of normal use--not slapping or aggressive playing. Equally unfortunate, they're bright yellow (not gold but yellow). Fugly.

RJ trivia: bassist w Divinyls for this song

strange, see 0:50--there's a really interesting shot of the band (!) but I don't see him in the vid; I guess he didn't fit their image. Anyway nice bass line, Randy.

Randy Jackson's polka dot bass...

Ugh. A little of that goes a long way...

Nothing really. It's not necessary to have Master Built EBMM instruments. That's only for brands whose regular line is so-so in quality.

+1

It is nice to get some other options that aren't available though like custom colors and fancy woods, but I agree I've owned regular EBMM and the anniversary models and quality was no different from one to the other. One was nicer looking to me (thats subjective though), but action, quality of hardware, etc... TOP NOTCH
