EBMM reflex & 25th Anniversary Club

OK, here's a quick iphone shot of my new reflex 4 HH! The variety of tones I get with the reflex & my Will Lee is making me reconsider whether I even need my P bass anymore! With a rehearsal tomorrow & a gig Saturday (different bands), I'm looking forward to seeing how it sounds in a live situation.

Thanks to keko & Ed Friedland for posting some informative video clips. The Stingray SLO Special I used to own didn't stick around for very long (and I thought I was done w/ MM for good), but I think my time with this reflex will be a lot longer!

That is the EXACT model i tried to order in a 5 string version. Review please!

Are you finding that has tons of aggression or is warmer like a P bass?

AMp'D.2play,

absolute fantastic look in sunburst color, ...awesome, ...and yes, You're right, ...with reflex HH You don't need P or J bass any more, even a standard Stingray and Sterling tone are included in that bass! :)

Whole known bass world in one bass, ...that's the EBMM reflex HH bass! ;)

Feel free to take club number #11 :bassist:

Oh I know! I can't wait. My main bass now is a bongo HHp, and its a tonal beast. The reflex is gonna blow that out of the water, I'm beyond excited. Especially for someone like me who plays for musical theatre and needs a new sound on the fly. I thought about the game changer just for that reason. But for live gigs AND theatre I think the reflex suits my needs a bit better.

Here's a pic from last Saturday's gig that a friend of the band took. Much better shot of my reflex than of me, that's for sure!

Very cool pic, ...I'd lower the bass a little bit, You know reflex got unique shape and needs lower strap setup for a perfect fit and playing versatility!

Just sayin'! ;)

Interesting rig and PA support You got there too!:)

How does one join this club? thanks

The answer is right there in the next quote:

Do you own a Reflex or 25th Anniversary bass? If yes, post a pic of it, and keko will get you a number. :)

Ed is the man.

Inside coils is the man.

+1 (to both)

I tend to be 'set it & forget it' and that's become my default position - all buttons up. I'm still playing around with all of the various settings. My last gig, the 2nd where I used my new reflex, I played the 1st half of the night with it in bridge pickup/parallel to cop more of a SR vibe. Not too shabby!
