Nice tone and great playing!
The midrange is really defined. So...cobalts are the way to go for you?

Nice round bottom, non-honky upper mids and some pretty crystalline treble givin it some presence - should be a winner on the gig - my prediction!
I wonder how the green sparkle PDN (which at first glance I am NOT in love with) will turn out on the mighty 'FLEX!

i like to run my volume from 3/4 to full so i know where i am, especially when the non replaceable proprietary knobs have NO POINTER !
Newb question: ebmm knobs don't come off?
just did a 3 day weekend gig over mem holiday. all went well until i desmudged the bass on a break. when i went back to play, the bass was roaring half way through the next song cuz i had inadvertantly moved the bass boost knob up to full. some kind of pointer knob on a 2k bass would be a nice feature, imo. on a dark stage the black set screw on a black knob doesnt really show up tooo well. :>) and of course as you all know there is no replacement knob for this bass, at least that i can find.
I read some people said they wish the Reflex had the Sterling neck, which I took to mean small. I am guessing this is 1 5/8. Are other Reflex larger?
