EBMM reflex & 25th Anniversary Club

i just noticed the cable jack on my reflex was a bit loose this morning. no problem, i figured i'd just grab a crescent wrench to tighten the nut. until i noticed that it's a knurled nut. is this just tightened by hand/fingernail or is there a tool that is used? i may just open it up a bit and put a drop of threadlocker on it to keep it in place.

My bridge grounding wire snapped after unscrewing the 'control plate'.

Such a great bass!

Still playing passive series inside coils every week at every gig.

Unless soloing, then I just switch to bridge H for some bite with the effects that I run.

I wonder how the green sparkle PDN (which at first glance I am NOT in love with) will turn out on the mighty 'FLEX!

I've been waiting for all this gear for a few weeks and it all came within 3 days. talk about a good week! now I just gotta get it set up to be strung BEAD and I'll be good to go.

they changed the color strip!

Been drooling over this one at local store this week. Unfinished, very small neck is crazy good

I read some people said they wish the Reflex had the Sterling neck, which I took to mean small. This one I played at GC ivory with single H was super small so I wondered if maybe this was a one-off. I am guessing this is 1 5/8. Are other Reflex larger? Thanks in advance

just did a 3 day weekend gig over mem holiday. all went well until i desmudged the bass on a break. when i went back to play, the bass was roaring half way through the next song cuz i had inadvertantly moved the bass boost knob up to full. some kind of pointer knob on a 2k bass would be a nice feature, imo. on a dark stage the black set screw on a black knob doesnt really show up tooo well. :>) and of course as you all know there is no replacement knob for this bass, at least that i can find.

Well, ..I'd go for a kind of DIY solution!

Try to make Your own pointer on original knob?

Unscrew it and mark the stripe on it! ;)

The Reflex nut width is 1 5/8. The Sterling is 1 1/2.

Given the choice of nut widths betw/ the 2, I'd slightly favor 1 1/2, so a Reflex SLO Special would be perfect (for me). But as it is, my Reflex and P bass, both at 1 5/8, don't get neglected.
