Actually I have come round to your way of thinking - a ponter knob would be awesome.

After messing with stuff for weeks I don't know how I came to that conclusion but it seems it was my SansAmp was the cause. Full tone passive and active neutral are basically the same
(just wanted to clarify for all the people who read this thread later)
It is kinda ridiculous how big the knobs are. I haven't ever accidently hit them though. And I always run my volume and passive tone at 10 so usually when I pick it up before playing I check they're fully throttled and ready to go

Yeah they are just amazing basses.
The preamp is so versatile.
However, the reflex model doesn't have some of the treble/upper mid bite that the Bongo and Sterling have in it's natural voice.
A bit warmer with a bit more beef down low. What do you guys reckon?

Looks like I might be leaving the club. I love my Reflex a great deal, but it doesn't get played like it should. I'm scared to take it on a lot of gigs haha. We will see if it happens or not, but she's up for trade. If I do leave the club, I shall miss you guys!

Beautiful bass! I have a Bongo 6HH in that color. Such a great color that pictures hardly do justice. Enjoy!!!
I 'am looking at a reflex 25th anniversary do you think that 1,600 in mint shape is a good price. i also found a music man Classic Sabre for 1,100 in mint shape
