EBMM reflex & 25th Anniversary Club

Well, I finally found my Reflex!
I actually ended-up buying a beautiful White HH4 from one of the members of this group.
I'm loving the Reflex ... a great addition to my growing collection of basses including my MM H5 a Tune TWB4, a Steinberger XL2, and a fretless Fender Jazz (the Red Raptor).
Very happy to join this team of Reflex owners ... Mr. Moderator ... can I have a number please???
David.

Hey Scuzzy,
Hope someone takes you up on that trade.
Not me, sorry ... I will NEVER part with my EBMM Reflex! Incredible bass.
David.
thanks. it is looking more promising, as I have a cash offer on my bongo I should be moving next week. then the search begins! I have one I am watching, but if anyone sees an HSS model pop up anywhere, 4 or 5 string, please pm me!

Had a first outing of my new (to me) Reflex 5 HH today – wonderful bass. Have been moving more and more towards the Musicman sound as "my" tone so it was a wonderful addition to my bass collection, even if I had to say goodbye to a fantastic bass with a high level of sentiment attached. My first 5 string too so it's triggered some good examination of my technique.

I've noted that even with new Roundwounds on, it's not particularly treble focused – really have had to push a few elements in my chain to get bite out of it. Could perhaps be because it's got so much low end and rich midrange to play with.

Does anyone with a hss find the neck pickup get in the way when slapping/poping ? Considering buying one , but have that concern, and can't try it first. Thanks

It doesn't seem to for me, and I tend to slap closer to the fretboard. I have the 5 string HSS 25th Anniversary in the quilted top. Very comfortable to play, and there are so many different tones you can get out of it. I've thought a couple times about letting it go, since I have some other Music Man basses, but it is so unique I just can't seem to do it.

scuzzy, I just dropped your new bass off with FedEx this morning. I hope you it's everything you expect it to be. I never thought I'd sell that bass, until I bought the 25th anniversary BFR 5H with the solid rosewood neck.
You are on here! I was going to ask. Very cool. I've been looking for a reflex hss 5 for years after I bought my first big Al. I'm excited to get my hands on it.
