I love labella tapes on all my acoustic/piezo basses, but have never tried on a traditional magnetic pickup bass. I have two sets on hand for that purpose though
The only Flats I would even consider on EBMM Bass [any of them] is their own Cobalt Flats
I understand the love here for TI Flats and some others; instead of 'crippling' EBMM Basses because maybe you want your Bass[es] limited to sound like the strings buy something else P or J etc.

I had a 25th Anniversary[aka Reflex] and the 20.00 Slinkys sounded great with it and I am confident many good Nickle rounds will to; along with Steel or Cobalt Round and let you hear what EBMM Basses are all about.

Fretless is a different animal. Unless you enjoy marks on your fingerboard, or you were smart enough to order an epoxy finish...some kinda flat or tape.
Oh and I screwed the neck pickup as low as I could get it. That's the issue with HSS...I can't slap or pop well with a pickup in the way.
If you don't use neck 'S' maybe you could remove and find HS pickguard or have one made; it most likely will be a challenge to find [if they even made a HS

I've considered having the pickup removed. I could probably find some pickguard material of a similar hue. Gigged the Reflex last night. I had a super tight dayjob/gig crossover so had to pack for the show after dropping the kids at school.
Skipped the tube head, used Markbass tube 800.
We are IEM these days. The Reflex cut through the IEM mix better than my other basses so far.
3 hours is a long time for an old man with a 10 lb bass! Neck is beefy and my.hand hurts.
One thing for certain; when I kicked the Crunch channel of the TwoNotes LeBass...
It was like chaos unleashed.

I got this a couple of months ago. I've been looking for a while. There was a little mix up on the weight when I bought it. Turns out its 10.5 lbs. Just to heavy for me. I'll be selling it soon.

She feels heavy- I’ll weigh over the weekend.
I only ever do 4-5 songs in a row anyways, so the weight doesn’t bother me.
New bass is 9 pounds flat.
Has lived in its case, new, unplayed since 2009. Still has all the stickers on it, original strings. Gonna give it a polish and fretboard oil tomorrow.
So glad to be back in the fold.
the same seller has an HH model, 5er, quilt, never played etc for sale too. I just love single H EBMM basses
