He always sounds like himself. Nothing particularly wrong with that.Very nice playing, great sound, but it does not sound typically like a Stingray, does it?

Still wish I could get a black hardware on ash / maple 4HH like Timmy C has in one of his EBMM videos. I know, I can, just tour with RATM and EBMM will make me one too. Heh.
Rich I'm sure we will offer that combo at some point.

Please, oh please!!! @Scott Ball
I'd love one in Natural with all black hardware. I'm eagerly awaiting this as an option and it's the only reason I haven't jumped on purchasing one of the new 2018 models prior to now.
I would guess the earliest we change options on the Stingray Special would be 2020 or so.
No plans for a SLO Special...they didn't turn well at retail.
Thanks, Scott!@Scott Ball
Last question, would it be possible at this time for a customer to place a special order through an Ernie Ball approved retailer for a model like the above (Natural w/ all black hardware)?
Unsure if this is easy to do or not given assembly practices at the plant. Though, I am aware it’s not possible to purchase a model and then exchange hardware due to serial numbering, etc.
Just wondering what other options there might be at this time if any.
Just buy two with different hardware color and swap them yourself![]()

I briefly considered that.
This makes a lot of sense to me. Buy two of them, I like it.
I'm all for that as well, just ask Rich's dealer for the cut.I get a cut off the sale of the second Stingray Special right l? It was my idea!![]()

I’m starting to get the Markbass or Gallien-Krueger bug again. Anyone using the CMD 102P or GK MB 212-II with their SRS?
I’m leaning to the GK (500 watt 212 vs 300 watt 210). Plus the GK is made in the USA and $300 cheaper. The Markbass does have that kickback option though.I played a 102P with a SRS at GC, sounds great. Markbass and Ernie Ball had an early distribution relationship and it seems like the brands play well together.
