I've got a Chopper Blue 5 HH. I'm a little tired of the color. Other than that it's an amazing bass. I really love the look of that tout guard!! I haven't read through all the remarks. Do you mind telling me where you got it? I'd love to put one on mine.

Oscar at Hipshot sez the the BT13 should be available “soon” and to keep checking the website.
Appreciate that but a deal I thought was done wasn't. All good though. I'll get by with my US SUB Ray and Bongo.
I've bought a couple of pickguards from WD Music and have another on the way. No issues with the ones I bought previously from them.
The previous owner of my Vintage Tobacco Burst bought two pickguards for that bass before he sold it and I think they were from WD Music as well. I have the tort one it right now and still an unused parchment (original was white).
EBMM changed the specials on their site to the pastels. Sweetwater has some of the pastels in stock and more of them on the way for those that are jonesing for them. These colors aren't for me (remind me of some sink colors). What's weird is that the 4 string in stock pastels say "Limited Availability! Once this item sells out, it won't be restocked."

Not for nothing, but there is a Hipshot Japan that has stuff not available in the U.S. Picked up an Atelier Z Beta (yeah, fretwork is as good as you’ve heard) and Oscar no longer carries that Gotoh model, but HSJ had it in stock. Might be an option.
They are also shipping with vintage 70’s Fender style case. Black tolex with red velvet interiors.
They actually look better than I thought. I’m not buying one but that pink looks peachy and the laguna green is quite tempting. Nice chocolate brown rosewood looks great with the matching headstocks !!!

These might be a short run. Get one while you can if you can.
Looks like these new finishes are in addition to the current offerings and they made harvest orange a standard finish as well.

Im guessing that’s due to the (seemingly) unenthusiastic response to the pastel Rays. EB has made it pretty clear their focus is currently on the BFR and Vault models and not their core lineup. I hope they’re scrambling to update their current lineup.
