I assume you mean the fretboard conditioner Wonder Wipes? I believe there is a Youtube video made by Ernie Ball themselves on “caring for your neck” where they say themselves not to use them on maple fretboards. This was before they were routinely using roasted maple, but I would be very hesitant to do it.
Can we please get a definitive word about roasted maple maintenance?.

A simple wipe down with a microfiber cloth after you are done playing and using Ernie Ball Wonder Wipes Fretboard Conditioner on the fretboard/neck when changing your strings will keep your guitar in great shape and prevent the need for extensive cleaning. …”

So it appears that EB is officially saying it's fine to use their Wonder Wipes on their roasted maple fret board and although it may be healthy for the wood they are not saying how it effects the color of the wood itself. If someone here has personally used them on a roasted maple fretboard Stingray Special, did it permanently darken the wood grain or did you regret the decision?
Yes, it was even recommended to be directly by EBMM. It didn't darkened the wood.
But it looked like it didn't do anything either, visually. If compared with a rosewood fingerboard that's kind of dry looking, the rosewood would definitely darken and absorb the oils (or whatever it is). The fretboard did felt cleaner after.

I also used Nomad's F-oil. None of them darkened nor changed the color of the fretboard or neck.
This is after using the Wonder Wipes Fretboard Conditioner.
I’m following along to hopefully see a consensus on the wipes. I’ve had my Stingray Special for only a week, so it will be a while before I need to wipe down the roasted maple fingerboard.
As well here, I heard from Oscar at HipShot this morning and he said the same, eluding to quite the long wait for them. He said to just keep watching the website and they will be available soon.
Yes, I saw that, but having talked with Oscar many times over the years and his willingness to chat and return emails quickly vs BBG and 3-4 others NOT responding AT ALL, I'll be glad to pay Oscar to buy the Xtender direct from Hipshot.
I know it's weird, costs more, and doesn't help the retailers (kinda like dealing with Sweetwater when the beloved local music stores just can't help), but I prefer to roll that away....
Yeah, The point of local business support is to foster a relationship with real people that are helpful. Seems like there are not helpful real people at the retailers. Burnt Ends (sans pickguad) SR5HH with gold hardware and flamed maple neck/fingerboard. Hell ya, I'd rock that. There's also a Smoked Chrome DarkRay that looks nice.

I love the look of a Stingray with a nice top and no pickguard, especially a five string! One of my few gripes with the fivers is that the pickguard is just so dang big. I'd prefer to see more, if not all, of the bursts, natural woods, and figured tops, such as the one in the vault.
And the gold hardware on that one is such a nice touch.
Seeing this makes me think that the gold hardware might actually look really good on the regular burnt ends as well. Especially since there is some gold inside the pickguard. It might look really good or too much, but I'm leaning towards really good.
What finish is that? Closest I’ve seen to honey burst on a special.
