I haven't seen this posted yet but there's another new addition to the vault:

Burnt Ends (sans pickguad) SR5HH with gold hardware and flamed maple neck/fingerboard. Hell ya, I'd rock that. There's also a Smoked Chrome DarkRay that looks nice.
HOT DAMN I WANT would match my burnt ends 4HH perfectly!

Why just Why did I have to see this LOL!

I admit to being really impressed with the Sire V5R Jazz five I got two weeks ago and have been giving it a lot of playing time. Hey, it's a really nice bass and I DO like a Jazz.

But I just spent a few hours playing through the set list for our next gig and used my Special the whole time. It was like coming home. My weekly basement jam is tomorrow and THAT'S the one I'm taking. :bassist:

I kind of know what you mean. I've been playing my ESP/LTD Bunny Brunnel a lot lately. I love that freaking bass. Today I picked up my HD Yellow Stingray Special HH and played it for about an hour and it was awesome. Then I picked up the Bunny again . It's a great time to be a bassist :bassist:.

Agreed. My small collection of basses covers a lot of ground and I'm really happy with it. It's now a little bigger than it was supposed to be, but I do enjoy the variety and I do use them all.

Lol. You sure do love spending other peoples money.

Me too. :smug:
I like to live vicariously through my bass brothers and sisters !!!
If we buy enough collectively as a group from the maybe we can get a StingRay Special Club discount.

I think after you spend a certain level of money , you should qualify for a free bass. Buy 3 get one free!!! Get $500 in cash value towards a new bass for every $5k spent.

@Todd Hamby is due a couple of free basses the way I see it. I think I could get one too. :D.

Ernie Ball should hire me for marketing and bass design . Well maybe not because everything would be sparkling with gold hardware and exotic woods. :woot::drool:

I like the way you think :woot:. I'm currently looking at getting another one and have been contemplating between an Amethyst Sparkle, Raspberry Burst and Speed Blue. With your line of thinking that would make 3 for me with a free one on top of that. Then I could concentrate on 2 out of the 3 instead of just 1 which makes it way easier to decide. You get my vote for Marketing . Now we need to make it happen :hyper:.

That kind of bass is something I wouldn't have even considered until recently. But this club has started changing my mind and I might just end up getting a Stingray that looks like one of these days. Anything is possible!

But, yeah, you and @Todd Hamby would have to be among the first to qualify for EBMM "frequent flyer miles".

I was at GC the other day and saw two SR specials they said came in recently. Black and burnt apple. I thought it was interesting that they stock colors that are no longer offered yet they didn't have any colors that are currently offered. At least according the EB website.

Burnt apple looks amazing in person.
I'm actually curious about this. Just noticed these on their website listed as new arrivals, which have discontinued colors and matching headstocks. I never saw any announcement about these
