Very nice. The build quality on these basses really does rival boutique basses.

I did the same thing. It’s been my only bass for 5 months.
Yeah... I'm pretty happy with it. I'm gonna get shorter saddle screws to lower the action more. They really should be able to go lower!.
Good thing I bought it when I did (I guess). It looks like the engine in my car blew today. No way I would buy it afterwards. That $2k is sorely missed at the moment... but I got a nice one.

I too am leaning towards selling some or all of my other basses, these two are getting all the attention!

I played one a couple of weeks ago.
I’m down to these 3. The Sire was bought for my husband but he rarely touches it. I keep it just in case I don’t want to take my nicer basses .
That’s a nice trio. I had a Sire briefly it’s a great bass for the money. If I only they made the Caprice in a 5...
The reason that I did it is because it does everything I need from a bass.
I wanted to like the Caprice but the vintage radius fretboard doesn't agree with me and the strings not lining up over the pole pieces would just drive me nuts.
I am selling off 3 because of my special. Keeping my Fender P5 and still seeking the elusive Jazz 5 that has the tone I hear in my head. The new Sadowsky is looking close.
I’m selling my vintage jazz bass and my 93 stingray 5, may keep my 73 precision just for the funk factor.
And oh man does my aqua record well, sounds fricking amazing!
LOVE that Caprice. Played one some time ago and to honest, it’s probably my favorite (so far) EBMM bass that I’ve played.
Hot diggity damn! I got that neck flat as the returns on my savings and the action is perfect! This things is SMOCKING!
Been playing this all morning. My early 90s stingray was previously the "gold standard" of musicman. I think its been replaced.
