EBMM StingRay Special Club

New finishes for 2025, coming this spring.

My wallet is safe lol.. this is incredibly tame outside of Dazzler which isn't my vibe from at least the screencap if its iridescent in person. If i was going for a vintage vibe i like the Faded vintage over a 3 tone sunburst or "chocolate burst" but for a premium instrument that normall has awesome finishes with depth or sparkles - i would never buy one like that haha.

Curious if they update some new finishes in the design experience with some of the more exciting options.

Black looks way better. That’s such an amazing bass though. Have you considered the factory tort guard?
Different strokes. I like it best in its current state. I prefer this WD tort' to the MM tort. If the wood grain had more character I'd have gone transparent, but the Okume, while delightfully light, isn't very figured.

I would like to see some of these finishes in person or better pics. Dazzler looks like it might sparkle and shift colors depending on the angle . Cherry punch looks like it has some. sparkles too.

Im not really seeing anything that is making me want to spend my money. I suspect if you want more unique finishes, you will have to either get a dealer exclusive, Custom Design Experience, or a BFR. Im excited to see the new BFR offering. Hopefully, coming soon.
I agree. Nothing here seems really special. I too would like to see better pics of the Dazzler, though it's not really calling my name. Cherry Punch will be good for those missing the Cherryburst finish of yore. Similarly, I'm getting '70s vibes from the Oxblood finish. Otherwise, I'm not seeing anything too remarkable.
Edit: I guess I should have said Honeyburst.

Look up the John Pettruci Majesty video in the finish "Her Majesty's Request" that they unveiled last year. Im like 99% sure that its basically this with maybe a slightly different tint. It basically has iradecnt/reflects light in a bit of a rainbow patter on top of an offwhite finish.

That’s what I thought too. I was thinking about a Vault offering I saw on a Short scale called Prism ( iirc).
If so, this finish would benefit from matching headstock.

That BFR really looks amazing. I wish they hadn't put the Butane Blue in a dark corner! It almost looked black from that shot. Would love to see that one in more detail.
That fallout green reminds me of my older Olive Gold Ray: https://www.talkbass.com/threads/music-man-stingray-club-part-five.1062983/page-316#post-28517511
(and another one, because it's fun: https://www.talkbass.com/threads/music-man-stingray-club-part-five.1062983/page-316#post-28519374)
