DR Sunbeams, DR Pure Blues and Dunlop Super Brights are all low tension. A bit too floppy for me. But I wouldn't call either of them zingy.
I like Super Slinkies (45-100) the best on a Stingray. They're a bit more tension than those I mentioned, but just perfect, not floppy and not stiff (like say DR Lo Riders). Just right.

Slightly more flexible than standard XL's. @StrangerDanger found them zingy, I guess they can be but I liked their overall tone a lot, very rich (middy?) and growly, but just not right for me feel wise. I had them on an Aerodyne PJ and something else, I forget offhand, but don't think I've had them on an active bass.

Just read this entire thread (stretched out over a couple of days! I do have a family). Surprised to see so many of you go for HH.

I‘ve got my eyes on a 4H aqua sparkle. Not really looking for much versatility, just a nice classic Stingray tone. Would I regret not getting the HH later? I think this is the only aqua sparkle SRS available in my country right now, so I am itching to pull the trigger!

I have HH but those with one pickup seem equally pleased.

That a one that got away sad story waiting to happen.
Get it while the getting is good. If it fits your need, no regrets. I’m sure you have other basses to give you other needed tones.

I went with the HH because the HH in the bridge position sounded the same to me as the H and I thought more options were good. It allowed me to sell my p bass and relieved me of jazz bass GAS forever. I think if you wanna have just one bass then the HH is the way to go. If you like having a stable then there’s nothing wrong with the H.
