Finally got an Amethyst. Second hand and was significantly cheaper than a new one so couldn't say no. Need to get rid of one now though.

Oof! That's going to be a tough choice. They all look beautiful.
Really tough. I keep going back and forth. I keep leaning towards the grape crush as I now have the amethyst with the rosewood board but then I pick it up and it's super light and looks gorgeous. I then move to the Black Rock but then I want to keep the maple board. I then move to the Arctic Burst as I can send it back to the retailer but it has this amazing striped ebony board and looks amazing with the matching headstock. And then it goes on and on
The other option is the G&L 2000 series E research edition but that thing is also a beast and really versatile.
The maple board one is my least favorite looks wise, but would probably end up letting the grape crush go so that I'd have one rosewood board, one maple board, and one ebony board
That arctic burst looks awesome with the matching headstock!
Hard decision. I assume you don't need two rosewood boards. Maybe swap necks with black rock and the grape crush

I'm a huge fan of the Amethyst finish! Congrats. I love mine.
If all I could have out of those was one complete bass, I would swap the maple board neck onto the Amethyst body and be happy for life : )
Just sticking my head in this thread. There's a lot happening in here, and I have to say you're all a bunch of true TB enablers. 
I sold a 1995 StingRay 4H a couple years ago after having owned it since new. Why? Dead spots, horrible fret sprout, harsh preamp, unstable neck, but I missed the way it played. It just felt so right.
Today this arrived, just in time for a gig tonight and tomorrow night.
I'm happy to report none of the old issues are present on this joy of a bass. Seems like EBMM have upped their game in QA and design.
