I just got this and test drove it at last nights gig, all I can say is wow! It really delivers. Simple easy to use control layout, two levels pf compression or you can have it off (I used the lower level of compression). It really cuts through with no lose of low end. The band said it sounded just like Billy LOL. I don't run it all the time but I found places to push me up in the mix and put some English on my riffs. I was skeptical that they would actually capture Billy's tone (I used to go see him in his Talas days in the 70's) but it really does ! It's not just a generic distortion with his logo slapped on it. Very happy with it.

You pretty much have to use one of the loops to correct the fact that the clean and dirty channels are out of phase, making the standalone pedal pretty useless on bass unless you want it to sound thin like a guitar.

^ Number one reason I'm going with an OD Glove/LS-2 over this pedal. By the time I get an EHX boost to fix the phase issue and an MXR 10 band in the clean side, that's a third of my board just for one dirt sound. I do LOVE the tonez. Just can justify it.

my wife just ordered one of these for me (I left it up on my computer screen and I had been talking about getting one), and I've got some boss pedals - a ds-1 distortion, a dd-3 digital delay and a super chorus...I'm thinking I could put the distortion or the chorus in one of the loops (billy pedal with peter steele in the loop - heh) to correct the phasing...but I'm pretty sure it isn't coming with the ICY-30 insert cables - anyone know where to pick these up?

You found a pedal you like that makes you go "wow!". Congrats, have fun with it. I like mine too.
