EBS launching new micro amp - Reidmar

I know my gig volume = how loud I can play at our gigs.
The last 24 months I have owned and played thru a RH 450, Staccato, SWR 500X, HD 350, TD 650, Streamliner 600 and now playing a Tonehammer 500. I don´t know how loud 250W can be but I can hear that it can almost compete with most other so called micro heads. I will measure it up as soon as I got time but that has nothing to do how it sounds.

Personally I thought the Shuttle's 3 and 6 both sounded like a wasp stuck inside a bottle. That's just my opinion of course.

If this is as good as the other EBS gear that I've played through, and sounds 'musical' like the guy says, then surely that's a huge advantage.

The price in the UK is very, very competitive, £379 !

I´m gonna rehearse and gig with Reidmar RD 250 from now on to see how it gonna keep up IRL. The more I play this amp the more convinced I am about it´s headroom/loudness capabilities. As I mentioned before it´s as loud as my Tonehammer 500 and most other so called micro heads out there.
I forgot to mention that I play it with the character filter knob switch off.

Not yet in their homepage, but is included in the 2011/12 catalogue I got yesterday.

Completely underpowered for me.
I have the feeling however that there'll be a more useful one before too long.

I just got my Reidmar today. I gotta say I'm very impressed with it. It's very well made, sounds really, really nice and is surprisingly very loud for 250 watts.

I suggest detractors try the amp before dismissing it because of its stated output power.

My SWR Headlite is rated at 400 watts. The Reidmar is far, far, far louder through my Acme Low B2.
I'd say that it easily compares with my F1.

I reckon that EBS are just being honest with their quoted specifications.

Looking orward to A/B-ing it with the new Glockenklang head.
