He looks pretty weird! Certainly a lot more plasticy than he did last year. Mind you, after DLR snubbed Eddie by getting Vai in on "Eat 'em and smile", I'm not surprised he has went off the rails.
oops!!! Looks like Mr. Van Halen has had some 'work' done. I do recall seeing some lines on his face before. Now I don't see them any at all.. unless the mag cover photo has been airbrushed (not an uncommon practice)Holy crap...
It looks like he's had a facelift... his face looks all taut and rubbery... it's even got a hint of the Michael Jackson to it...
Geeeez... my first impression when I saw that 'face', was that I was looking at a cartoon!

anyone know if his son "wolfgang" is any good on bass? Isnt he taking over for the upcoming reunion?
That might make for better sales. A 'pretty good' show by someone that used to be huge is sad. A horrible blowout tragic accidental self parody, on the other hand is awesome in its own way. You can tell stories about one of those for decades. I saw the Firm back in the '80's. They were okay. No truly great moments, but no truly awful ones either. It was fairly obvious that Jimmy Page and Paul Rodgers just wanted to get paid some more. Both guys are very capable musicians in there own specialty areas. All in all, an okay concert.
I saw (at least 2/3 of) the surviving members of Queen with Paul Rodgers on vocals. It was somewhat skillfully executed, but it was horribly wrong in many ways. Freddie was a unique talent. His old band can stay together, but they should record new music and let the old go. Paul Rodgers singing old Queen songs is disrespectful of the deceased. It was a travesty.
But it was a memorable travesty.

I think there will be two types of people at the shows on this upcoming tout. Die-hard VH fans and people who want to see if and when Ed and Dave will duke it out. Based solely on the pics, I'll put my money on Dave.

It's the Karma thing...Eddie's been an a**hole to just about everyone from bandmates to his ex-wife to his own brother Alex all his life. He is a ego filled dirtbag and now after all the drugs and nicotine and alcohol have started eating him away he is left to face the world looking like a joke and an outcast from the old Munster's show.
This is the cover I was talking about. I think he looks way better in the photos above. You can't really see the whole weirdness from the little photo in this link...You gotta see the actual magazine.

It looks to me like Eddie is just getting old. One thing about the above picture is the way his teeth don't fit in his mouth quite right. Looks like he may have dentures.

Those aren't dentures. He's always had that sort of bite, but with all the smoking and drinking, they've become a bit more pronounced in his older age.
