don't suppose anyone out there has a spare footswitch for the Navigator preamp?
Kinda crazy timing, but someone just posted one for sale in the "Parts, Strings, and Accessories" classified section.

yep, $225. rare doesn't always equate to expensive though...Kinda crazy timing, but someone just posted one for sale in the "Parts, Strings, and Accessories" classified section.
Just put of curiosity, what are the differences amongst the three versions?Nope, I've got all three versions of the navigator and know for sure ;-)

so then, this is the second version? any ideas on something universal I could use for the pedal or is there one in a closet somewhere I can pickup for few bucks?Actually, I have 4
I also own the WTP Pre
If I provided an empty box could you make a functional substitute? No substitute available.
Mine of course will stay with the amps.
If there was a higher demand I could build some.
oh shoot! haha. OK. I would certainly appreciate a picture of the internals if at all possible.Sure I could, but I live in Germany.
So shipping is a pain.
I once bought an entire Navigator, footswitch included, for $250.yep, $225. rare doesn't always equate to expensive though...
exactly, just four plain on-offs, can't be too complicated. I am hoping I can get someone to rewire the guts of an existing four switch pedal and add the din. maybe like this:I once bought an entire Navigator, footswitch included, for $250.
$225 for a generic four switch pedal with the Eden name on it? Call me crazy, but the brand appropriate pedal isn't going to function any different than any generic pedal.
For ***** and giggles, I popped a two switch footswitch that I have here open and it looked pretty much the same.exactly, just four plain on-offs, can't be too complicated. I am hoping I can get someone to rewire the guts of an existing four switch pedal and add the din. maybe like this:
I think I have someone to wire it up without charging an arm and a leg. could you post a couple more angles of the din? need to confirm how the wires trace to each post and if any lines are ju.ped or grounded in a certain manner. are there any resistors or other components with values that you can see? I'm surprised there's not more in there...I sent these to @Dfam2025 , but if anyone is curious ...
Sure. Give me a day or so and I'll snap some pics. IIRC tho, I didn't see anything with any values on it. Looked like there was nothing special with the wiring tho.I think I have someone to wire it up without charging an arm and a leg. could you post a couple more angles of the din? need to confirm how the wires trace to each post and if any lines are ju.ped or grounded in a certain manner. are there any resistors or other components with values that you can see? YOu mean like the LEDs
yes, leds look like the only potential unknown. I dont supposed they can vary drastically and even if they do, doubtful that it would affect anything enough to be noticeable in this application. looks like four single footswitches in one box wire independently on positive post led first to the led, then to the first two switch terminals which are jumped, then all four are linked with a direct line on the negative using the green wire to ground the completed circuit. does it look like there is a component directly on the first post? from the side shot it looks like a resistor
yes, thanks again ! BTW, I connected with a guy on fb marketplace that says he's friends with David Nordschow... more to come on that point!Sure. Give me a day or so and I'll snap some pics. In the meantime, you can zoom in on the pics - I took them at a high resolution, so you should be able to get quite a bit of detail.
