I say go for it...eat the thing.

My great granddad ate brains and eggs just about every day for breakfast, and catfish eyes whenever he could get a mess, so what's wrong with chowing down on a little soft tissue expelled during birthing?

A little garlic and some butter, once or twice around a skillet to sear, then pop in the oven just long enough to get a good medium rare finish, then...

Are you kidding? Do you know how they treat dairy cows? And what about all the chemicals and hormones in processed milk?
 
This is SO gross, SO wrong, and to eat your placenta? Omg!!! I'm so glad I didn't hear all this before I had kids. Even so, I think I'll still have nightmares!

This all makes drinking hormones and chemicals in cow's milk seem ok...
