Effects that you wish existed

This thread is the official "Effects that keep you laying awake at night because it is so frusturating that such an effect/ sound in your head doesnt exist in pedal form... and should". I have no clue what would warrant this as "official" but I do know that I offically wish there was:

An analoge (or even digital if need be) clean tone octave/ two octave up that didn't sound digital or need fuzz to sound good.

On a serious note... I'd like a PROGRAMMABLE bass synthesizer pedal. Imagine being able to dial in the perfect synth sounds and NOT have to re-tweak sliders and stuff...

...yeah, I know, I could enter MIDI/rackmount territory to accomplish that, but I want a 3-channel PEDAL!

I've discovered that most pedals do exist in some way, shape, or form. Every time I think I've seen it all, I find 10 more people creating oddities in their garage that nobody needs, but many of us would like to have.

That being said I'm still in search of the perfect overdrive pedal, all the lows and highs retained with no compression.

I would absolutly love having a ring mod with a blend that goes from all clean to completely wet and everything in between, several(I'd like at least 4) programmable presets for the carrier frequency as well as an expression pedal and an internal switchable limiter and low pass filter.

Too much to ask for, is it?

My friend and I have been trying to figure this out for a while, it'd be much more useful on guitar than bass, but it's good effect for either. A piano-type damper pedal that sustains notes for chords and lets the notes ring out for an adjustable amount of time or until you stomp it, which would take way too many effects in chain to have it done without having an entire board for it :/

I like MysticBoo's programable syth idea too. It would be cool if more pedals came with expression pedals too or if there was a better quality version of the third hand.

An arpeggiator - similiar to the Murf, but with stepped pitch shifting instead of filters. A good LFO would be essential. I'd feed it a steady diet of SYB-3 hold-mode drones
