A diner by me does crab cakes Benedict. The crab cakes replace the English muffins. A beautifully poached egg with runny yolk and hollandaise on top of a crab cake is pretty ******* amazing.
I WANT THAT NOW!!!!

It's good. The crab cake doesn't have to be amazing but the hollandaise has to be legit. Lots of places make a half ass version.I WANT THAT NOW!!!!
My twin was eaten by a bear when we were camping as a kid. So until I have had my proper revenge, I eat eggs this way to remind me of unfinished business.
God, I hate bears.

I'm going to make it at home. I will keep you posted. It's good. The crab cake doesn't have to be amazing but the hollandaise has to be legit. Lots of places make a half ass version.
I like runny yolks. Hard boiled is ok when you smash it up in some Cains and make a sandwich. I have a hard time eating them whole after watching Angel Heart.
I restricted the poll to “common breakfast arrangements that can be prepared in an ordinary frying pan,” hence the absence of, say, hard boiled eggs, and by extension deviled eggs, which are objectively one of the greatest foods known to mankind. Otherwise, I’d have to include every dish that involved eggs, and as we can see, there are simply too many of those to list in a poll.
Plus, I mean, c’mon- If I asked a houseguest how they preferred their eggs in the morning and they told me to make them a custard I’d hand them a cold Eggo and show them the door.
