The rumor mill has been on this for a while and EHX has just released the POG III, Polyphonic Octave Generator, Have not seen a bass vid yet but I am sure there will be one soon. Looks like there is a lot of greatness packed in this sexy red beast of a pedal.

i've been using +2 sounds forever. this sound takes a few pedals to get it this way, but the octave is coming from the digitech bass whammy.

i've always wished for more options to do +2. at first i was excited to see pog3 has it, but i'm really underwhelmed by the demo?

i don't have a youtube link but there are some videos on my instagram where i get a really nice organ-ish sound that i think is better than what i'm hearing from the pog.

i was really hoping to find something better but for now i'm not so sure this is it. but, i am definitely open to hearing bass demos.

Pretty cool effect.!Wouldn’t mind having one to play with. But I don’t know how cost effective it is considering you can buy an actual full blown hardware synthesizer that’s far more capable for the same or less money. Especially if you shop used. $650 will get you an awful lot of synth these days. And if you’re using VST instruments that money will easily buy you a several or so synths plus an actual sampled orchestra.

I think this is more of a direct replacement/upgraded HOG2 as most of the features, form factor, price point, etc., are more in line with the HOG2 than the POG series. Also, EHX website for the HOG2 states discontinued in 2024, and the POG2 is still available new...

While you could get a POG2 new (or used), the HOG2 has a lot of these features and may show up at a lower price point in the used market...
