Just bought one of these, just beacause it was so cheap really...

What are peoples thought on this pedal? I've only used it playing on my own, so can't comment on the cutting through the mix thing, but seems it's best for accenting string noise

I use mine only for playing live gigs, and then only if/when I need it. The pedal definitely doesn't sound good in a solo context (ever), but can be invaluable for helping cut through a muddy live mix--if the soundguy isn't great, the Steel Leather suddenly becomes invaluable to me
