EICH and Ordering from Europe…

P Cheen

Alembics and parametric mid knobs scare me.

I’m very keen on the EICH 112XS-8 cab and it looks like I can snag a B-stock for under $600 from Thomann. Will I have to pay customs or what-have-you fees? I’m in Oregon.

Also, for those that have and enjoy their EICH cabs, what’s the TB consensus? Planning to match it with a GK Legacy 500. Any input is appreciated!

Love it! It's a keeper! Definitely doesn't sound like a class D amp. It's worth checking out.
Had mine a few months :) it’s got a great sound indeed bags of power set it flat and leave it perfect

I have a Tecamp S212 cab, which is the same cab as the Eich 212s.

This cab absolutely kills. I was looking for a light cab that had deep, clear and present lows and man does this thing deliver, even at low volumes. Its also really loud.

At 44 lbs it’s light enough with great form factor, it has a small footprint so doesn’t take up a lot of room.

I wouldn’t hesitate to buy an Eich cab (I just may pick up a 212s to match my Tecamp.

What cabs are those?
Made buy a local Dutch builder! I was looking for something modular to ease the load ;). I was suitably impressed with the quality! Not Neos fully Eminence loaded traditional magnets but light enough and designed specifically for the drivers ! So nice and loud for the size! The bottom cab is an LF kappa and cab is tuned for lows and is birch I believe it takes a real hammering and is used conjunction with the 10 combined 8 ohms. Crossover is very standaard at 700 and 3500 but works well. Middle cab is a stand alone option but optimized for mids also 8 ohms I use it full range at present and back the output off from the amp to prevent it getting overloaded and balance it with the other 2 …. Not
Eich cabs but happy for the price…
