Electronic Audio Experiments Appreciation Thread

Anyone owning both the OxEAE Bass Driver and EAE Greathammer, please comment on how close they are/aren't (tone wise)
Got them both, they’re identical as far as I can tell. Saw a few comments about noise floor differences so did some testing with various settings on min and max and couldn’t tell them apart. I did min/max settings just because dialing in anything accurately otherwise is really difficult due to the pots and sliders.

Arrived yesterday. Haven't played it through bass yet but put it through my guitar rig for a couple hours.
Really fun and well-designed pedal. I was curious to its tonal ability on guitar. A lot of interesting and cool shaping ability, especially running end of (dirt) chain. The bass control is VERY powerful. Really hits sweet spots for lower tuning as well.

Makes for a unique guitar pedal. Made me really think outside of my traditional go-to guitar dirt flavors.

I still need to get a hold of a Dagger or Halberd one day.

It looks sooooo much better etched.

At first, I thought the switch was a little backwards, between center and down.
Decided to give it another go earlier, this time with the EQ all the way down.
Yup. I was wrong.
I had been EQ'ing it in such a way that made the down (moderate mid-cut) sound more exaggerated and scooped.
At first I figured I'd never really use that side, but now I think it's kinda awesome.

Halberd into the Greathammer is a tone sensation. Love the Halberd on bass but it really shines on guitar.

Also the Dagger just rips, such a fun scrappy drive. Just nails the tone I want out of a distortion pedal without any faff.

Had a lot of fun with the Greathammer but it's time to send it off into the wild. One of those weird times where I'm content with my current gear. If any of yall silly geese want it before I post it and/or missed out on the acid etch, just hit me up.
