It looks like the OxEAE have a bit more low end, but I guess 99% of bass players investing in such a niche pedal as a Rusty or similar have many options to cure that somewhere in the chain. I personally stick with the Noise Space Audio "Elephant" (another take on the Traynor), to my ears so far the high knob acts exactly as the "attack slider" on the Bass Driver. Also I prefer way much having a mid knob over the internal switch in the Bass Driver

Hoping for an acid etched version when they eventually put the circuit into their normal enclosures.
I just checked out that Noise Space Audio pedal. Cool looking. Reminds me of the Fairfield aesthetic.

I managed to snag one. I'm also a huge EAE fan. Have multiple ones for my guitar pedalboard. I'll report back later! Out for delivery today! Unfortunately, I couldn't get a black one. My guitar pedalboard is pretty much all blacked out. My bass board I'm not so anal.

Plugged in and it's pretty sweet! Like anything EAE, it's just super versatile and can be mean if pushed. It's pairing along great with my Tone Hammer, Unclean, Shaffer Replica. I am going to try it with the Mother Preamp as well, but the Mother works with everything so I'm sure it will be good. I can totally see this becoming a sought after pedal for sure. Wish I got the black since it was more exclusive, but that sold out way too quickly. Definite keeper for me.
Call me doubly stoked- I just snagged a Mother preamp pedal as well. As a bass player who also plays guitar through the same rig, this seems to be a versatile setup for sure. I’m so stoked
Same! My Mother (heh) shipped earlier this morning and is due to land this coming Wednesday. The Bass Driver hasn’t shipped yet but according to the email from EAE it should be on its way by May 1st. In the meantime I’ll soak up all of the vicarious enjoyment I can get lol.
Awesome! Well previously the Fuzz had the strips, I cut strips of dual lock the full length and it stayed on perfectly. I'll probably do the same again!
