Electronic sound, and weird pedals in general

Hi everyone.
I wanted to ask two questions:
In the song Anti You, by Blue Stahli, you hear a sound at about 0.33: Is that a bass guitar? Can that kind of sound be obtained with some sort of pedal?

The second question is: Do you know of any weird pedals in general? Like the Geiger Counter for guitar, or stuff like that.

It's a sawtooth wave synth, but you could get close to the sound with an analogue octaver into a gated fuzz, perhaps with a filter after it. To cop the feel of it you might need a pitch shifter, it's got some portamento between some notes.

As for 'weird pedals', yes we know lots of weird pedals, you'll have to be more specific.
