Going to have a look at a Platinum 4 String neck thru swamp ash one of these on tuesday.Anybody know much about these.Its in great shape and i can get it for 1100 euro.

Looks nice- it will likely be very light. It's one of the Classic models- I haven't0 seen many through-neck Classic 4-strings.

So it is a platinum then yeah.Just tryin to get as much info as i can as i dont know much about these.Any info would be great you guys know alot more than me.

Yes, it's a Platinum. The Gold series basses are the bolt-ons, the Platinum basses are the through-necks, the Hybrids (set-necks), and the singlecuts. A lot of his 4s have had 34" scales lately as opposed to the 35" scale that is standard to his basses, so I couldn't tell you the scale length. Good price for it.

its a 35" scale.Gettin it tomorrow morning.Anything i should look for when im buying it.

Nothing outside of the usual- make sure all the knobs and switches work
