Elrick: Great Basses!

I'm surprised to see Elrick postings as sparse as they are. So I'm resurrecting this thread 1) because I want to and 2) because the honorable Dr. Cheese started it.

I've had 2 Gold 5s and still have the fretted one. They're simply a joy to play. Beautifully handmade, light, unbelievably playable and with a really fat and clear sound. They really have a tone all their own - and it's a sweet one!

Those are two beautiful basses you own.:bassist:

That 4 stringer kills! Would love to have a trem like that in the collection.

thanks!! Maple top on mahogany body. Indian rosewood fretboard on a maple neck. Aero pickups, Mike pope custom 4 band, and of course the kahler!! She’s a tone machine!! The pre and kahler aren’t offered by Elrick, I had them installed.

I’ve had a lot of Elricks over the years. I just passed the two year mark with my Elrick semi-hollow SLC 6-string being my only bass. Easiest playing 6 I’ve ever had- a sweet, mellow tone that can also get J-like, and under 9lbs.
