EMG HZ? whats ur opinion?

The difference between the actives and HZs is about 20 euro here. I personally like the actives better.
Just an update yesterday I went up to GC and played some of the newer HH and H stingrays and I'm not sure if it was just the little fender rumble trash amp they put me on but I was not that impressed.
It did have a much clearer tone tho. My triples and slap sounded more distinguished but not all I was expecting. Also the nut is way different that any bass I've ever messed with, not bad but much different. It like almost lets the last string sit on the frets yet has no string or fret buzz.
I liked the single H one more tho but they dident have any of the classic rays tho so now I gotta find one so I know for sure which one I'm gunna get. Anyone here got a classic stingray?

I wouldn't hold judgement on them based on a fender rumble amp.
Was there nothing else in a GC to try them with?
LOL yeah another rumble. There was a jazz player using the nice stuff. The GC by me has a lackluster bass cab selection. I have nowhere to check out mesa boogie by me. I'd have to go down town to Chicago music to check out top dollar stuff. And I'm much to lazy, although Chicago music does sell spector's.
My church used to use a Spector bass with EMG HZ pickups and an EMG preamp. Nice tight low end. A bit middy for me though.
