Endless Pools - swimmers experiences??

Are there any swimmers on Talkbass who've tried out these 'Endless Pools'? You know these relatively small pools that have a controllable current that you swim against?

They're manufactured in the U.S and I don't know of anyone here who has one.

I usually do 1Km of my local pool, and wonder whether I'd feel the same satisfaction if it was more against the clock rather than counting laps for instance. Will I get bored never reaching the end??

Does it feel the same??

I'd be really interested to hear of anyones views.

I've only used one in hospital while recovering from the 5th surgery on my right elbow (long story).

If you are used to doing flip turns and counting laps, I'm sure it will feel weird at first, but I thought it was a great idea. Made it fun to do my PT.

I really dug it and would put one in my basement if I hit the lottery.
