Double Bass Enjoying my Kay

Hi all. Feeling good about this Kay and I thought I'd post some pix. I finally got it purring I believe, after many string tinkerings. If anyone recognizes this bass I'd be psyched to hear from you!

Its got "the Bevel". Its a nice looking bass. I love blonds myself as you may see from my Avatar. What strings have you settled on? Looks like gut D & G.

Thanks! I am using spirocores mediums on the bottom and the bass loves them. I always used Weichs when playing Spiro’s but these feel great on this bass. And, yep, guts on top. Loving it.

Thanks. I was wondering. I found it in a local music shop and it seemed to have been out of circulation for a while, based on its excellent condition.
