enormous problems, frustration...please help?

I'm trying to wire up my stacked concentric control plate.

I've followed the Fender schematic and no luck. no signal.

In assessing if the problem is my control plate ,
When I then put my old control plate back on I only get volume out of my bass with the bridge pickup open (not the neck soloed) and when I have the neck pickup full on it cuts out altogether.

I've gutted my new control plate so photos wouldn't really help.

Problems solved.

I had to replace a pickup and clean my pots, start from scratch, and diffuse the bomb that was ready to blow.
