Envelope Filter?

Where did I insult you?

Well of course there is a similarity, if there wasn't it wouldn't fall in the envelope filter catorgory.

Can you give me a few examples of what hasn't been done in regards to envelope filters?

What are standard controls on a envelope filter to and for you?

Patience, just have a little.

Is it really that hard to tell me what is special about this pedal? What does this do that the dozens of other EF's on the market don't. You said it was innovative; what is innovative about it. You said it does things others don't; what does it do? It was at NAMM so there's no need to be secretive about it.

It sounded to me like it was maybe only being triggered by / effecting the higher notes ..? (which is something I often set up my effects to do) But hard to tell without hearing the bass!

The thumps sounded like thumps while the upper tones sounded envelopish. Also the snaps were clear so thre is a frequency thing going on. but if Im wrong Im wrong. It is youtube and I did hear something to that effect. I did like it as it did sound good. I hope it becomes available in stores to try rather than order and hope you like it. But I did like what I heard. Are you a consultant to it (jauqo)?

I agree, but these are all features available on filters out currently. The BEF Pro could pull all of those tones.

This isn't the first time Jauqo has dropped a YouTube pedal demo vid in a thread and when someone challenged him on it being the greatest thing ever, he blamed the listeners ears and not the recording, pedal or any one of a number of things that could cast doubt on the pedal being the greatest thing ever. Don't worry about it, when the pedal comes out, it will be the greatest thing ever or it won't and we'll be able to tell for certain then.

Arguing further will only lead to more insults and angry people, unless you enjoy that kind of thing.

You are referring to the Daring Audio vid where me and a drummer are playing together.

Kat's want to get an attitude and attack me because I'm not answering certain questions.

Like I said just have a little patience.

@ OP; I recommend 3Leaf's fabulous GR2.

I've used EHX Bassballs Nano & Q-Tron + but didn't get on with eithere of those so switched to MXR's Bass Envelope Filter after reading rave reviews. I was incredibly happy with the MXR filter until I was blown away by a guy at a jam session using the original 3Leaf Groove Regulator. After hearing that I went on a hunt to find a used one and came across a 3Leaf GR2 for sale so pounced on it without hesitation then a week later a 3Leaf Wonderlove appeared for sale so, given how impressed I was with the GR2, I clearly had to have it!
Unfortunately (IMHO) the Wonderlove is just not as good as the GR2. It needed more time and effort to get the same tones I was getting with total ease from the GR2.

The MXR Bass Envelope Filter and the 3Leaf Wonderlove are great filters but for me the 3Leaf GR2 beats them hands down.
