Lol...Yeah, when I used to gig with 2xUL310's, I had a 4 space rack with a Crest CA9, preamp, and power conditioner which weighed @ 70lbs. Sometimes it was a feat to get that thing on top of those cabs after carrying it in from the car. Well worth it though, it sure did sound fantastic. ;)

I thinking of putting my Hevos poweramp in a separate case, so I can move my amp in 2 parts. The whole combination as it is weighs about 40kg... Sounds absolutely great tho!

Happy camper here. :)

I have been thinking about getting a 902 for a while now to power my UL212 and UL210.
The problem I have is that my 212 would get twice as much power as my 210 as it is a 4ohm and my 210 is 8.
I fix this problem now with my crossover function on my Eden WT800 but when I finally make the switch to all epifani I don't have this option as there is no cross over switch.
i dont want to get another UL210 at 4 ohms because mine is a series 1 and they are quite hard to find in Australia.
I was thinking about putting two seperate volume channels for both sides of the head. I was thinking about putting the new volume switch where the limiter was. This will be a difficult task but I've got a electrician who is more than capable
What do you guys think?

It sounds like you want to buy an amp that doesn't fit your needs just to have everything match . To go out and buy a expensive 902, then modify it seems a little excessive in my book.

If your not planning on changing your cabs you should buy a head that fits them best

Just a sweet, sweet rig! F Bass and Epifani - pure magic. I'm rolling with F Bass and Epifani as well, went Markbass though ampwise as I am an ol' wussy who personally hates lugging around heavy amps, let alone racks.:o

Markbass was the missing link in my particular rig. I tried several different heads, but nothing was sounding how I wanted it to. I wasn't truly diggin' the UL2-410 until I ran the Markbass SA 450 through it. Now it's as sweet, deep, clear and as hifi as I could ever want it. I am a hifi tone junkie, I have to hear the windings in those stainless steel strings or I am not a happy camper. With Epifani and Markbass the top end of the F Bass now has a shimmer that can be either sweet and lacy or just plain full-on sizzle.:)

Of course one of the best features is that with one turn of the Markbass VPF knob on the SA 450 I can turn that beautiful transparent brilliance into warm old school thud. Oh yeah and at tear down/load out time there's no back pain what so ever, thanks Epifani!:D

Here are some camera phone pics of the new rig. I am loving it more and more each time I play it. Perfect combination of punch and depth. The PS115 is an amazing cab. Deep but with a nice touch of finesse and clarity. Not bad as a standalone.

Nice pic! It looks like we like the same stuff (410UL, F1, 502). The F1 and 502 really sound quite different, don't they? I love the fat fullness of the 502 at home, and in more sparse mixes in more 'listening room' type situations. But the F1 through the 410UL just powers through a mix!

The S2 has a 'Series II' printed right below the Epi badge on the front grill. The I just says Epifani.

I don't think there is any way to tell the difference between the original S2's and the heavier newer ones other than picking them up.
