Epifani Club! I've seen the "light"!

I use the Tonebone into a Markbass LMII. I just picked up the tonebone and never heard this noise before I started to use it. So maybe if I back off the gain on the tonebone or from the LMII this could be corrected. I did make sure I was not clipping at all. But, maybe when I was digging in on the B it was clipping and I didn't notice until I heard the noise.

That would be my guess. I would back off the input volume of the tonebone, and make sure that the LMII input clip light is not lighting up when you dig in. My guess is that it's the tonebone input set too hot. Let us know. Also, do an A/B at the same volume setting with and without the tonebone.

Lol..thanks guys. Seriously though, I never used ALL of them at the same time for a gig, but I had the power to pull it off! One time, I used the ul310 stack and a berg nv610 side by side, at a large hall...man, that was complete tonal bliss! 12 10" speakers behind you, 6 epifani, 6 berg's, is something every bassist should try at one point! It was awesome!

No pics Junior but I use a UL502 thru a UL2x10 and UL1x15. They stack up perfectly and is the ultimate rock and roll rig. Also, I can carry both cabs inside by myself, one trip. Amazing. What's my damn number? LOL

I heard this rig (UL502 and UL2x10) live recently and Rob's tone was to die for! I'm sure the Sadowsky and the fingers also helped , but that rig was completely killer. Needless to say, I have been researching Epifani ever since (and checking my piggy bank).

Just got an S2 UL-112, via Van Gelder (thanks to TB ); my first gig with it (+TFB420) is this Saturday night, at the Iron Horse in Northampton MA. If things go well, I will be replacing my tired (and heavy!) Hartke 410XL with a UL-410 somewhere down the line.

Thanx Ko and Lync. I dont know which part is the most important. Me, the amp or the bass? Maybe all three together. Soundmen and others always assume its my amp. I always get "what a great sounding rig". Thats the compliment. I think it might be more Sadowsky than it is Epifani but Im not sure. I do know that my present rig sounds amazing. Punchy, full, nice and open. I did notice a big difference vs. my previous artist deal. That gear was good but the Epi gear is great, IMO

The best part is that its modular and sounds 3 times larger than it actually is!! The coolest. I do gig a ton and large, heavy gear gets very old very fast. LOL

Dont hesitate guys. Id like to get into a 3x10 or 4x10 but no rush. The present setup kills

Definitely different cabs b/t these two.

But I'd say the PS112 is deeper and rounder than the UL112, with less mids. This PS cab has the same tweeter as the UL cabs. Thought about selling it for a UL110, but just can't seem to part with it.

Hey Coyoteboy!

I still play my T212 and T112 (both pre NYC) when
my band plays outside (QSC PLX2402/AlembicF2b/Sans Para DI)

Hate to admit it , but picked up a Berg HT112 and Eden WT400
for my lounge twice a month gig, punchy little thing.

The Epi's come out when there is some serious air moving
to be had
