HI
Yea. I found the PS's to be rounder, more traditional sounding. They are awesome, also

the ultralites are much faster feeling under the fingertips, while the performance speakers feel more relaxed. the ps will have that more familiar ceramic sound.
like bike said, the ps4x10's have a rounder sound that's slightly bumped with some lower mid to lows that might make you think old school. but it has this articulation keeps it from getting ampeg cab muddy and doesnt get overly sizzly / harsh in the tweeter ala those more aggressively voiced cabs.
can only imagine nick making his own sealed old school 6x10 or 8x10 cab w/ those babies!!
the ps112 however is nothing like its more refined cousin, the ul112. again, the ul cab's feel is much faster and immediate, while the ps112 is rounder.
the ps112 is even rounder than the aguilar gs112. the aguilar seems to go deeper with almost more expansive and slightly softly focused sound, that with more wattage seems to become more upfront and brownie thick. while, on the other hand, ps112's low mid to lows bump make it more stouter sounding, where that extra wattage seems to add a more pounding wallop.
