Epifani Club! I've seen the "light"!

I'm late to the party. I just picked this up from Joker. I haven't had the chance to gig it yet, but I'm really looking forward to next weekend. The tweeter is so smooth which is nice because the M6 has a lot going on up top. Big, deep and punchy. The M6 pushes it very nicely and it seems like it can take it all.

Anyway, I know you all know how killer it sounds not to mention it's only 47lbs.

Nice Chris!! I love the Epi tweeter too for that sweetness. That's one cab I wish I still had. Can't believe Joker gave one up.

im so excited about the setup i will have after gettign a second epifani cab...

markbass f-1 less than 5 pounds, fits in ym levy's gigbag pocket(along with two speaker cables, power cord and an instrument cable)

r-bass 4 string-less than 8lbs

epifani ul 1x12-30 lbs

and if i choose another 1x12...30 more lbs or a 2x10...37 lbs. so....

im a pretty big guy and athletic(5'10 230lbs) and my rig will be able to be carried in one trip (gigbag, bass cords, cables and markbass head on my back) and one cab in each hand...totaling less than 80 lbs.....awesome awesome awesome!!!

Another opportunity to brag about my UL 310. Not only does it sound great, it's the perfect size for small rooms. Plenty of oomph without overpowering the band or the audience. Here are some shots from last night...

Thanks Jesse. I was thinking about a 410, but I just love the form factor on the 310 and the M6 really opens it up nicely. I always have PA support so I think it'll be plenty.

they have been listed on musicians friend since late summer/early fall. who knows when they will actually be shippig or in stock, if ever.....see the ul 902c stories...

I dig that 310 cab more and more each gig - I know I've said this before, but it's just perfect for those in-between gigs where a smaller cab would be overworked and a bigger one would be too much.

+1 and nice clips! I always called the 310UL 'the best 210 ever' (until the TecAmp s212 came out anyway!). I'm a little less positive on the newer, heavier models, but that original version is still high on my list for those who find a 410 too much, and a 210 being pushed right to its limits.

I too love my 310. I also have a 112. And sometimes that is not enough. I also have a UL 410, and at times it is more than what I want to carry, so that 310 is perfect. I am curious about the 112 with the switchable impedance between 4 and 8 ohms. Would the 112 at 4 ohms do the job? As for the Epi rig bringing out the best of each bass...I could not agree with you more. By the way, I love your tone on both basses, and you are a very tasteful player. More, more, more......

I have to echo Ken on the fact that the markbass f-1 and epifani ul series 1 cabs=an awesome combination.

my new r-bass 4 string should be delivered today...which means my little setup will be the markbass f-1, ul 1x12 and the bass...totaling 44lbs with gigbag and all necessary cables....muahahah.

i dunno,

i've fed some massive power into my single ul112, i.e. my 902's 600 watts @ 8 ohms, and a little 12" only does so much.

I agree, the only way the (dare I say it) switch is going to help you out with volume is if you have a head that isn't providing enough power at 8 ohms.

I'm guessing not. I'm pretty sure the crossover is doing its thing regardless of how much you attenuate the signal to the horn. I'm pretty sure it's just a horn attenuator, not a variable crossover.
