Last summer I took my UL310 to a rehearsal for a band I was going to sit in with for a set at a festival gig. When I left, I carried the UL310 in one hand while I opened the door and walked out. He accused me of "showing off" until I had him pick it up. Same thing; Mr. jaw, meet Mr. floor.
+1.. the original 310UL at 47 pounds was just at the upper limit of a one hand schlep IMO. The new 56 pound model, not so much IMO. Still nice and lightweight in a relative sense though.
Yeah, and something about its dimensions make it even feel lighter than that. Cool beans!
That said, I still get the best response from one of my uber-light basses... I just about have to be prepared to catch it as they almost launch it picking it up.

I just had the BEST sound ever on my gig - I'm totaly loving the tone, punch and clarity that came from my 902 and the two UL112 (S2) cabs.... I used my 78 Jazz Bass on the gig and all the guys in the band praised the sound.
And I love carrying the rig - light but powerfull and tone.

I'm late to the party. I just picked this up from Joker. I haven't had the chance to gig it yet, but I'm really looking forward to next weekend. The tweeter is so smooth which is nice because the M6 has a lot going on up top. Big, deep and punchy. The M6 pushes it very nicely and it seems like it can take it all.
Anyway, I know you all know how killer it sounds not to mention it's only 47lbs.

I'm extremely impressed with the UL series tweeters (maybe all Epifani tweeters are the same... I don't know)
That was one thing that sold me on my Epi cab.
I'm late to the party. I just picked this up from Joker. I haven't had the chance to gig it yet, but I'm really looking forward to next weekend. Nice Chris!! I love the Epi tweeter too for that sweetness. That's one cab I wish I still had. Can't believe Joker gave one up.

Thanks Jesse. I was thinking about a 410, but I just love the form factor on the 310 and the M6 really opens it up nicely. I always have PA support so I think it'll be plenty.

pictured is an sx jazz bass that is pretty effin sweet for the toy like price tag.
i would like an epifani ul 2x10 to stack with the 1x12 and then....
on tuesday, UPS will be dropping off a 7lb r-bass 4 string....if that dosnt play into the lightweight shabangabang i don't know what does!!!

i wrote them an email once just asking some basic questions about some product information and they replied very quickly and were awesome to deal with.
I had a small issue with my 902 c. They offered to pay my shipping and promised that it would be returned to me in a couple of days or they would send me a replacement until mine was fixed. Well, I decided to take off a day from work and drive it their shop. When I walked through the door, Nick stopped what he was doing; made the repair on the spot and apologized for the problem I had with the amp. Did not charge me a nickle and would not take any compensation. So I find Tunaman's experience odd indeed.
This is an excellent cab for when you do or don't have PA support - depending on the room. I could definitely live the rest of my days with this cab if I always had PA support. I had to move mine b/c of a new gig where I didn't always have support.
I tried 3x or so... no luck for me but I do love the cab. I don't slap so I have my tweeter low enough that it doesn't effect the sound now.
Its really amazing how different the tone is vs. other cabs. I have an older Peavey cab I got for 50 bucks that is solid but just sounds so different. Not bad but different. I like the Epifani tone much better

Another opportunity to brag about my UL 310. Not only does it sound great, it's the perfect size for small rooms. Plenty of oomph without overpowering the band or the audience. Here are some shots from last night...
