That’s a beautiful 6-string bass, Despite those skinny strings. the 4-string looks great all gussied up, too.

All the T-Birds pics are making me miss mine. I went thru a rough patch and sold mine. Sea foam green reverse body hot rodded. Used to say they'll bury me with it but when times is hard I tend to make dumb decisions.

Anyone know where/how to purchase VINTAGE PRO IV pickups (ProBuckers)? I wanna try them in my ACTIVE, Pro IV. And... will they fit, without "mods?"

An authorized Epiphone repair shop should be able to get you the pickups

I replaced the Electar humbucker with a Gibson Low Impedance Bass pickup, taken from a Gibson Triumph.

These are stacked humbuckers with three coil taps.

The rotary switch is connected to each of the coil taps, so I can choose first, second or third coil tap.

In my opinion the sound of the Electar was a bit tame/bland. The Gibson Lo-z humbucker is more authoritative / commanding. Better dynamic response.

This pic of a Les Paul Signature prototype -that I found on flyguitars- inspired me.

Unfortunately nobody does.
I know David Schwab made an effort back some 15 years ago. But it never came to fruitation.
